New Cherry Blossoms provides treatments for various special needs including challenges with learning, communication problems, emotional and behavioural disorders, physical disabilities, developmental disorders like Autism, Attention deficit hyperactive disorder, Cerebral palsy, Delayed milestone, Learning disability and other Language and Speech disorder. We are a specialised and experienced Speech Pathology practice for children and adolescents. We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of assessment and treatment for a broad range of communication and learning difficulties. Our practice philosophy has a strong family focus. Your knowledge of your child is combined with our thorough and skilful assessments to identify any underlying weaknesses in the foundation skills needed for successful communication and learning. The therapy is then tailored specifically to your child’s individual needs, and we coach you so that you understand and can support this therapy. Multiple studies are showing that early intervention in these children is beneficial, as the maximum development of the brain happens till the age of six. These particular children need education in various forms of occupational therapy, speech therapy, psycho therapy and special education. Special education or special needs education is the education of students with special needs in a way that addresses the students’ differences and requirements. Ideally, this process involves the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, accessible settings, and other interventions designed to help learners with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school/community than a typical classroom education. Students with these kinds of disabilities are likely to benefit from additional educational services such as different approaches to teaching, use of technology, a specifically adapted teaching area, or resource room.
