I had similar experience, for 8 months I am chasing this man for getting my 25k back which I gave for building a shed. Unfortunately I did not see the post by Mr. Vasu earlier. Be careful with this guy.

This is a one man show by Mr N Karnan claiming to be an engineer but actually an electrical spares seller with no qualifications.<br/>He never completed additions/alterations to my house even after 3 years when I was fighting on the LOC and the North East in the Army for people like him. <br/>The quality of work is extremely poor and over-priced. The latrine drainage had to be re-constructed at great expense because this man did not give any slope to the drainage pipes. He still owes me Rs. 35000, seven months after I hired another proper engineer who finished the work in 3 months in excellent condition. He keeps saying he will return my money ‘next month’.<br/>A totally shameless cheat who should never be trusted by anybody. Anybody doubting my words is welcome to contact me to hear a recording of my conversation with this man on 16 Jul 14 where he 'promises' to return my hard earned money by 'month-end' yet again.<br/><br/>
