A human face can be read like a map. Learning to read this map is a lot like learning a new language. The predictions and opinions on face reading might vary depending on the culture, society and their methods. Due to options and varied opinions, people are in a dilemma and are confused about prediction to believe.

This article is based on a Research prediction by Alan Stevens, the people reader of Newcastle, Australia. He is a psychologist consultant with schools, corporate and recruiters on body language, facial features, facial expressions, and neurolinguistic programming. He is continuing research on face reading based on previous research works and believes that facial features can reveal personality traits.

Here are some of the traits derived from Stevens’ research on Face reading:

1. Confidence

The confidence level of individuals vary. Confidence can be defined as a belief in one’s ability to succeed in life. According to Stevens’ study on face reading, he derives the confidence trait by comparing the ratio of facial width to facial length. People who are very cautious and less confidence have face width less than 60% of their face length. Whereas people with face width more than 70% of their face length are naturally confident.

2. Friendliness

You might come across people who sound very rude and at the same time, you will also find people who are too sweet that they help you at any cause. Friendliness is a characteristic that defines a person who is kind, caring and makes the other person feel more comfortable. Stevens’ study indicates this trait by observing the distance between the top of the eye to the eyebrow. By doing so, it was found that people with higher eyebrows are not too friendly and require their own personal space. People having a little distance between the eyebrow and the eye tend to behave and interact in a friendlier manner.

3. Tolerance level

Do you have a high tolerance level for any issue that comes up? Tolerance level differs from person to person. Some might get irritated very quickly and some have more patience to listen. To find out this trait, Stevens has studied the horizontal distance between the eyes. The research study concluded that people with wider eyes have a higher rate of tolerance.

4. Worldview

Having a knowledge of current affairs and general knowledge is a must! More importantly, your opinion about such issues. This trait is derived by measuring the size of the fold on a person’s eyelid. People having thicker eye fold tend to be more analytical in their views. On other hand, people with thin or no folds are more decisive and action driven.

5. Magnetism

Attracting people or seeking their attention is another unique trait. Magnetism is the ability to attract and charm people. The depth of color of one’s eyes has been used to identify the level of magnetism a person possesses. Stevens clearly concluded that people with deeper-coloured eyes tend to be more charismatic.

Isn’t it interesting to know such traits just by reading one’s face? As said earlier, opinions and predictions vary widely. If you are fascinated to know more, then consult the face reading specialists near your locality!
