Went for engagement make up. Experience was overall scary. Lot of attitude and ego. The two most important things in a service industry like make-up are 1. How you treat your client and 2. How well is the outcome i.e. make-up. She failed on both frontiers - the outcome and the experience. On the day of engagement when I reached nobody cared how I wanted the make up to be like, by what time I needed to be done etc. The staff was treating their boss like a celebrity, even more important than the client. While I was getting late for the function she was busy getting her own hair done! While doing make up she didn't ask for my opinion and when I told her I didn't like something she got aggressive and said 'if someone is not naturally beautiful she can't do anything' . Imagine saying this to a bride to be!! I had booked her for wedding as well, but found another guy at the last minute after the bad experience. The other guy did a fabulous job and treated us very nicely. I am glad I changed!
I previously had bad experiences with ?makeup artists?, and I was so nervous to trust someone to do the job on my special day. From the moment I met Khushboo she made all those fears go away. She took the words right out of my mouth when I was trying to explain my vision and made me feel more beautiful than I ever had. She was so friendly and kind and worked exactly the same magic on my beautiful Mom's and sister's too. I haven?t stopped singing her praises since the day. She gave every one of us a smile of confidence on a perfect day and for that I will be ever grateful, as she gave not only sparkle, but happiness too. Love and blessings..!!
