"Hello everyone, I wanted to share my worst experience with Chandra Computers highlighting the issue I faced due to their lack of expertise. I had given my laptop to them to resolve a blue screen problem. They suggested an OS installation, and I specifically asked whether the data on my D and E drives would be retained. They assured me that there would be no data loss. With their confirmation, I agreed to proceed with the OS installation. However, I didn't receive any notification from the shop regarding the readiness of my laptop. When I called to inquire, they asked me to come and collect it. Upon checking, I discovered that there was no data in my D and E drives, where I had stored important data for almost 15 years, amounting to nearly 1 TB. The reason they provided for the data loss was that the system didn't allow partitioning. This was an unprecedented response from a service center, and I was shocked. I went to buy a laptop in June 2020. I was initially suggested a particular model and i paid an advance too but on the next day when i went to collect it i was told that the said product is not available and they offered me a very poor product which i only realised later after purchase. Since the online classes to being next day i had no other choice except to buy the model which they had offered but the said product is slow, hanging, max. volume is too low and does not have an intel processor. I would not suggested this showroom as the Manager is also rude and harsh. Pls avoid going to this particular showroom at TTK Road, next to Narada Gana sabha.
