I need legal assistance at the DRT for following : I applied for a housing loan in 2006 for an approved project of the concerned Bank , the Bank disbursed 80% of the loan to the promoter directly even if the construction in the project did not start , without doing any due diligence, totally violating the terms and conditions mentioned in the loan contract , putting me in a huge debt trap. The promoter siphoned off the fund and the project did not start. I paid the EMIs till 2014 even if the construction did not start then and informed the Bank. Even as on date the property is not complete. The Bank has moved to DRT with a plea to get the possession of the incomplete property and sell of, thus depriving of my life long savings ..
