In 2016, Dr. Reddy's Foundation launched GROW, a new skill training program culled from our two decades of experience in the skilling sector but more importantly, aiming to create high-quality skilling at a low cost. Currently, the program is being implemented at scale in more than 70 centres across 18 states. Dr Reddy’s Foundation started the skilling initiative in early 2000 when very few agencies were thinking about “placement-based” skilling programs as a solution to help young unemployed youth from marginalised sections. Dr. Reddy's Foundation's first skilling program was the Livelihood Advancement Business School – more popularly known as LABS – was hugely successful and trained more than 3.5 lakh young people since its inception. The simplified model was adopted by many agencies in India and countries like Vietnam, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. We are pioneers in skilling since 1999 and have placed over 3.5 lakh youths in jobs. We have the best IT-enabled infra and training quality among best in the industry. We have placements with 500 reputed companies. Our Key Features Industry Vetted Course – GROW’s curriculum is industry vetted, and the emphasis is on developing essential job competencies like English Communication Skills, Personality Development, Interview Skills, etc. Certified Trainers – All GROW trainers have to attend and clear an intensive 36-day in-house training to be certified as a trainer. Competency Assessment – In addition to regular assessments, GROW tracks the “skill shift” of all aspirants through a “pre and post” assessment index to ensure they have moved to the next level. End-to-End Tech Platform – GROW’s dedicated IT platform (www.grow.org.in) is a boon to both employers and aspirants. It is built to automate the entire lifecycle of the training and to match the aspirants’ competencies with job requirements.
