I did so too last Sunday; mainly because I love shopping and secondly because I love designs. And I happened to look at some kid’s wardrobes available online. Must say I am glad I bought my kids their cupboard last year or today I would have been spoilt for choice!

This one is made out of high density fiber board and offers style as well as durability. I liked the sleek open shelves. They could be used for keeping toys as well as books. These units were available in a plethora of colors including baby pink, green, and yellow. I saved the details including its cost which was Rs 24,999.  Would go for it any day. It’s compact and tough to withstand any rough usage by a kid growing up.

Wow! My son would jump up with joy. Anything with cars works for him! I liked the numerous shelves that this cupboard housed. Organizing things would be much easier here. Though a little high priced at Rs 32,800 would be a steal for something that will withstand long years of rough usage.

I found this lovely house shaped cupboard very appealing and unique. The blackboard present on one of the doors of this wooden wardrobe would have allowed my younger child to enhance his drawing skills. This uniquely designed cupboard wasn’t a bad deal for Rs 37,999.

As I said- spoilt for choices.

If you are not interested in buying a readymade cupboard for your child’s room, you can hire a carpenter to create them.  

Vital Considerations While Getting A Cupboard Designed

1. Make sure that you make plenty of compact shelves for your child to put his board games and toys.
2. Pull out wire baskets are simply wonderful! They help your child in finding his socks and toys and books easily.
3. Extra space for accommodating larger toys is a must.
4. Shelves for placing towels, shirts, pants and other clothes.
5. One of the most important- pull down rail. Pull down rail is a cupboard accessory that allows your child to bring hard to reach clothes up to his level.
6. Shelves should be low in height and easy for your child to reach.
