There is no privacy…she doesn’t allow husbands inside for the ultrasound or any other scan which is very unfair…on what basis she is not allowing husbands inside ??

Wonderful experience with Dr Karthik Nagesh and the NICU at Manipal Hospital old airport Road, Bangalore for saving our premature babies We write this note from the bottom of our hearts thanking with all our best wishes Dr Karthik Nagesh and his neonatal team at Manipal Hospital Bangalore. When I was in the 30th week of pregnancy with twins we were looking forward to a good expected delivery a few months down the line but suddenly When the babies were found to be at high risk because of my high BP I had to be referred to higher Centre where high level intensive care for the babies ( if they were born premature) was possible. During the present covid pandemic times and in the lockdown phase there was a worry for us husband and wife to go to a large hospital. But nevertheless we took a chance as we had heard of the great reputation of Manipal hospital NICU under the care of Dr karthik nagesh HOD Neonatologist there and we wanted a safe delivery and no complications for our babies.

Dr Karthik Nagesh my baby?s saviour. We are so fortunate that our Bonnie baby who is now two years old was saved at the time of his birth by the excellent care of Dr Karthik Nagesh and his neonatal ICU team at Manipal Hospital Bangalore. During my pregnancy at the 22nd weeks, my life came crumbling down when I was informed by my earlier doctor in another hospital that the baby?s scans suggested what is called a congenital diaphragmatic Hernia which is a condition causing the intestines, stomach and even the liver crossing the hole in the diaphragm and coming into the chest cavity of the baby and pressing the lungs there and not allowing it to develop. My obstetrician said this is a devastating condition and the baby may not be born alive or even after birth has very little chance of survival. Our world crumbled down at that stage. However, at the suggestions of many friends and and doctors we were told to approach the best newborn and obstetric team for high-risk pregnancies.
