We had toured MP about 3 years back with the help of this Deccan Gymkhana office.We are three senior citizen couples.We are three friends since IIT Kharagpur days of 1975.With their guidance,we planned and started our tour from Gwalior and ended at Bhedaghat. We stayed at Hotel Tansen at Gwalior.Tourism dept arranged a Tavera car for us six persons yp to Bhedaghat.We stayed in Gwalio for 2 day and 2 nights. We then visited Orcha and stayed at MPTDC hotel in tents. It was like staying in a star hotel.They served us very good food.We stayed for 2 nights. We then visited Khajuraho.Their also we stayed in MPTDC hotel.They also served us very good food.We stayed for 2 nights. We then visited Bhedaghat. we had to travel whole day.We stayed their for 1 night and 1 day. Whole tour was very good.How much time one should spend is choice of individual.But hotel stay and food is most important criteria.We had very comfortable stay in all these hotels and good food. very lame place a very bad experience stay away from this place only two staff persons to look after food quality is very poor. they mentioned pure veg resort but served non-veg food also. so jains be careful. frequent power failure with no sufficient back-up lousy swimming pool no value for money no campfire was provided lack of infrastructure
