M and M Bangalore has been founded by two brothers who have a strong background in agriculture, plantation crops, philanthropy and social ventures. Hailing from a family of Coffee Planters, the founders started diversifying into other agri-produce such as maize and ginger in the early 90s. A trading firm was set up in 1993 to trade these products, based out of Bangalore. The company grew rapidly and had Marketing operations in other cities such as Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. Once the agri-business became streamlined, the Founders started devoting time to social causes. In 1999, Social Service Organization called DISC or Developmental Initiatives for Social Causes was established. In 2001, a Union for Security workers was established to help them with better working conditions and wages. As the company and its reputation grew, the founders started diversifying into allied businesses. In 2006, it ventured into Marketing and Sales for housing society plots, beginning with the Telecom society. Soon, the company was marketing entire projects developed by or for Housing Co-operative societies. The exposure to marketing plots and housing projects gave the founders an insight into the needs of this sector. As a result, in 2008, M and M Enterprises, a venture into Granite mining and Exports was set up. In 2012, M and M Bangalore Pvt. Ltd. was established and this was followed by The Bangalore Employees & Self Employees Housing Co-Operative Society Ltd in 2014. These ventures were formed to develop high-end residential layouts for Co-operative Housing Societies. Till date, as many as 14 projects, in various stages of completion, have been initiated, while many more are on the anvil. All these projects are noted for all the amenities and features that can be found in a project from any of the top Realty companies. Yet, these are priced very attractively, which promises the home-buyer high returns as well as a great living experience.
