Gauri Khan's Interior Decor Secrets

I quite like Gauri Khan. She is the classy, quiet wife of a superstar who knows how to carry herself. We all saw her graceful as Khan made a fool of himself when KKR took the IPL trophy this year.

She is now brand ambassador of D'Decor, and also doing interiors for some housing projects in Pune.  I was always curious about her interior design tastes and chanced upon them in a piece in India Today. It sure is impressive!

Gauri Khan

Shops at: Parisian flea markets which are a treasure trove of antiques and design fairs where new talent can be spotted. Prized possession: A vintage point-and-shoot camera bought from a flea market years ago. Colour coordinates: Beige offers a neutral palette which is stylish and also easy to work with. Go-to brand: The Charcoal Project, Mumbai. Comfort zone: My dressing room which is where I keep all my favourite things.  Must-have: Mirrors, especially the classic Venetian variety can perk up any space. Signature style: Less will always be more. Sparse interiors dressed up with a single stand-out piece look modern while exuding classic elegance. This aesthetic will be on show in my latest project, Glitterati penthouses in Pune, a collaboration with Kolte Patil Developers.  Design faux pas: An overdose of ethnic elements in a space and kitschy interiors are not my cup of tea.  Dream home: My home Mannat.
