International Shotokai Karate - Do Federation

Welcome to the official web site of International Shotokai Karate-Do federation. ISKF is the only recognized Shotokai organization in United States affiliated with National Karate Federation Of United States and recognized by World Karate Federation and International Olympic Committee. International Shotokai Karate-Do Federation is a non profit organization that has been teaching traditional shotokai karate-do in the United States. ISKF was founded and is still led by ShihanGurwant Singh Ladhi. He is also recognized as the Chairman & Founder of ISKF, USA as well as many other ISKF, USA - affiliated national Shotokai organizations worldwide. ISKF is a growing organization that has sought to maintain the highest standard of teaching and excellence ISKF provides a safe environment to learn new skills and build character through a number of programs including the karate program. It trains youth and young adults with employment training, provides newcomer services and literacy, and is the largest not-for-profit Organization. ISKF is committed to preserving the intangible cultural treasure of Shotokai Karate-do, which has been passed down to us in its original form from one generation to the next. ISKF has attracted culturally diverse martial arts practitioners from around the world, who have joined the organization after recognizing the authenticity and excellence of the ISKF and its direct karate lineage tracing back to Master Shigeru Egami, the founder of Shotokai Karate-do. Our members actively support our mission, objectives, and activities. The ISKF sponsors interactive website forums, seminars, and international Karate events for its members to stay informed with news updates, improve their ongoing knowledge and skills, and develop life-long friendships. We believe that Shotokai Karate-do training benefits all practitioners, regardless of their nationality, race, age, or gender. The ISKF has a worldwide network of leadership groups and karate schools in different countries with highly-qualified chief instructors and dojo instructors to meet the needs of students and families. Training at their own pace, each ISKF member will improve their mind(mental health, education, and language); body (self defense skills, physical fitness, flexibility, and endurance); and spirit (character, positive attitude, and contributions to society). It is our goal to improve the “quality of life” for all of our ISKF members to help make a positive impact on the world.
