Why should I create a business profile on Sulekha?

Sulekha is the No. 1 service listings site visited daily by nearly 90K users looking for service providers like you. These users might call you directly by seeing your contact details on your business profile page.

Is it mandatory to submit ID proofs to create my profile on Sulekha?

ID proofs are not mandatory to create your profile. Your profile will exist on Sulekha even without any verification. But if you submit ID proofs, we will send you customer requests that are detailed and much more serious than User-initiated calls.

I want to add more services to my profile. How can I do that?

You can go to Sulekha.com on the web or on the App and login to your account. Go to your Services page and edit or add all services you offer. You can also contact customer support for any assistance, call 1800-420-1212

I have successfully created my profile and submitted my documents. Now what?

Our team will verify your documents and activate your FREE account. This process can take anywhere between 24-48 hours. After the activation, you will start receiving leads when Users submit a request for your service.

I have created my business profile on Sulekha. How can I view my profile page?

Your profile page will immediately appear on Sulekha.com. Click on Public Profile from your signed-in Dashboard or search in Google for your business or click on the link sent to your mail account upon registration.

Why is the contact no. on my business profile different from what I provided?

Sulekha may provide Service Providers with a Business Virtual Number ("BVN"). Be assured that calls Users make to this displayed number will be directed to your contact no. This is done so that Sulekha can understand user transactions and can be recorded for quality purposes.

What are leads? How can I get them?

Leads are customer enquiries for services on Sulekha. Users fill forms requesting for services and we forward those requests to matching Service Providers. When you newly claim or list your business on Sulekha, we verify your documents and provide you with a Free Trial Offer to try our leads. If you are satisfied, you can recharge and become a PAID Sulekha partner.

What is Sulekha Pay Per Lead Model?

Sulekha Pay Per Lead Model is a package where you can pay only if you accept a lead

  • We send you an SMS with customer details. You accept only the lead that you want to serve.
  • If you accept a lead, the cost of the lead is deducted from your package amount.
  • Reject the leads that you do not serve and we will not send similar leads in the future
Will the deduction happen only if I accept leads?

Yes. The deduction from your balance happens only when you accept a lead.

Why should I register for the Pay Per Lead Model?

You can create a profile for your business and on signing up, we offer a FREE trial to try our leads. The Pay Per Lead Model is applicable across most of our popular categories and registering for this Model can increase the number of customer you serve.

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee. All you need to do is create your profile on Sulekha and we will automatically provide you the Free Trial Offer.

What should I do to get FREE trial leads after creating my profile?

You have to submit the minimum required documents to get your profile verified on Sulekha. Upon successful verification, you will start receiving customer leads.

I submitted my documents but I am not getting any leads, why is this happening?

Once you submit the documents, our Operations team goes through them. If the documents are not valid, your profile will be put on hold and they will get back to you within 24 hours.

Why am I not getting leads for my business after registering, even though I have a trial offer?

There could be two reasons for this:

  • In some categories, the existing customers might take priority as they have opted for premium packages. The Free trial customers might not get leads. To get a prioritized package and receive leads, call customer support at 1800-420-1212.
  • You might not have correctly mapped all your services. Update your services with all the valid types, immediately.
I am getting leads only for some of the services that I am mapped to. Why is this so?

Lead inflow is not the same across all categories. Further, it depends on the number of paid Service Providers in that category. Contact customer support for assistance, call 1800-420-1212.

Will my balance be applicable across multiple categories?

We have marked some categories where our flights are full. Apart from those, your balance cab be used across all categories. Please contact customer support to find out about these categories.

Recharging Pay Per Lead Account

I used to receive leads but not anymore. Why is this?

Make sure your account balance is sufficient. If the balance is low and cannot cover the cost of the lead in your category, you will not receive further leads. Recharge online to top-up your balance and continue receiving leads.

How can I recharge my account?

Login to your account and recharge from your ‘My Package’ page.

What happens to my existing balance if I recharge?

The existing balance will be added to the new recharged amount.

I have made the payment but my balance has not increased. What should I do?

If your balance does not reflect immediately contact our customer support at 1800-420-1212, from your registered mobile number. Our representatives will cross check your payment and make necessary changes to your account.

I am not comfortable paying online. What should I do?

You can call our customer support at 1800-420-1212 for collecting cheque from your place. This service is free of cost.

Refunds

How can I get my money refunded if I am not satisfied with the leads I receive?

If you are not satisfied with specific leads, you can contact our customer support 1800-420-1212 specifying the lead details. We will investigate and remove those leads from your account and refund the money back to your balance.

Can I get a complete refund of my money?

In very few cases, where we are unable to provide you with leads, we will refund your money (excluding Sulekha free bonus amount) after deducting a small setup fee (5%) and service tax (15%).

Calling Customers

Will my package expire if I do not respond to customer requests?

No, your package will never expire. But you will lose customers and will get deprioritized in subsequent distributions.

Should I call the customer immediately when I accept a lead?

Our data suggest that Users are most active soon after filling the form. So, call immediately to see better conversions.

The user number is available in the SMS, why should I accept on the App / website?

We deallocate the virtual numbers after certain hours of non-activity. So, unless you are able to connect to the user within 2-3 hours of the request, you might lose out on the lead. But if you accept the lead on our platforms, we will not deactivate the UVN for a period of 10 days.

However, you are advised to exchange mobile numbers with the User if they are interested in your services.

Why am I not able to call the User on the number provided in the SMS?

We do not share the customers’ number with service providers. This is to protect the customer’s identity. Once their need is met, we deallocate the other virtual numbers to prevent spam. This means that you have to contact the customer soon enough to be able to talk to them.

Are all Customer numbers, shared by Sulekha, virtual numbers?

Yes.

The leads that I call are already called by other businesses before. How can I call them first?

We distribute our leads to our PAID businesses before offering to free trial businesses. You can contact our customer support to learn about our different PAID packages, call 1800-420-1212.

What if the customer does not pick up the call?

Please try calling again as it is difficult for us to keep track of customer availability.

What happens when I reject a customer request?

The customer request will be sent to another service provider. If you do not provide the service, then we will not send you similar requests in the future. To serve you better, we request you to provide us the reason for rejection.

Why am I seeing different prices for leads in the same category?

Pricing of our leads depends on the available number of service partners and leads in a particular category, cost of the lead, etc. Hence, each lead is priced differently.

Will my balance be applicable for non-Home services categories?

We have rolled out this model only for most of our popular categories now. Check your Dashboard to see your eligibility for Pay Per Lead Model.
