Temple Run

Temple Run is a 3D endless running video game developed by Imangi studios for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. It was first released for iOS back in 2011 and later for Android and subsequently for Windows Phones. Temple Run later had a sequel which was released on January of 2013. In Temple Run, the player controls the character Guy Dangerous in a temple where he embarks on an adventure to get ancient valuables. There is no end in the game, until the player falls in pits or gets eaten by monkeys. The game is pretty easy to play, as the player has to either swipe or tilt the device to the direction they want to move and avoid obstacles. Other cool characters and upgrades can be unlocked as the game progresses with the coins collected. Both Temple Run and its sequel have been downloaded over 1 billion times.

Fruit Ninja

Fruit Ninja is a video game developed by Halfbrick and was released for iPhone devices early 2010 and after its phenomenal reception, it was released for several other platforms and devices. In this game, the player controls a sharp blade with which the fruits that appear on the screen have to be sliced with. Extra points are awarded for slicing multiple fruits simultaneously. Since the game doesn't have an end, the only way to lose is by missing 3 slices or slicing random explosives thrown. Another Mode available in this game is the Zen mode which is timed for one minute and thirty seconds. The player wouldn't have to deal with hindrances from explosives this mode. Fruit Ninja has a total download count of 1 billion in all platforms put together.
