5 Natural DIY Kitchen Cleansers At My Home
Kitchen is the most attractive place in our home, but at the same time a dreadful place, if we don’t care to clean it! Today’s contemporary house is piled up with toxic substances designed to make our lifestyle comfy. Usage of these detrimental products might cause negative effects to our kitchen. So, why don’t we opt for a DIY cleaning? – ‘Time to go Organic ‘
Kitchen has different types of surfaces that have contact with our food. And, it is also a place for harmful chemicals, so a sluggish upkeep will cause adverse effect on our health. Here are some eco-friendly home-made cleansers that I used to clean my kitchen.
-For that sparkling floors
The first step to clean your kitchen, is to make your floor look alike a mirror! Before scrolling down, make a note on the type of floor and then use the ways described below:
All types of floors: Add one cup of white vinegar in hot water and mop it up. Vinegar acts as a sanitizer, which leaves a glossy shine to your floors
Wood Floors: You need 1 cup lemon juice, 2 gallon of hot water and ¾ cup of olive oil. Mix it up and clean your floors with a mop. You no need to rinse it, instead leave it to dry. The combo of hot water and lime will leave a lustrous floor
Tiles: To keep up that grout white, sprinkle baking soda and clean it with a mop, this makes your titles look great
-Clean your oven
Some might use oven only for heating purpose, but some use it on an everyday basis. So, you definitely need to clean the oven in a weekly basis. One of the easiest ways is to use the self-cleaning process, but it can’t be perfect always. So go for a DIY!
Sprinkle water over the bottom of the oven and spread baking soda and add some water until it becomes a paste
The color of the baking soda would have become brown, in the morning. Now, use a brush to wipe out the baking soda and then clean the hard spots of stain
Finally, rinse it with vinegar and baking soda. This leaves a splendid shine
-Refrigerator cleansers
Fridge is one of the least cared areas in your kitchen; it’s our tendency to leave it for months without a good clean. Don’t make a mistake, head-on for your refrigerator clean now! Take out all the food items and any pieces of interiors that you can remove easily.
Fill a bucket with hot water and squeeze lemon juice, put the fridge shelves inside, let it soak for an hour. Remove the shelves and scrub them down with orange peels
Add 3 cups of water, 5-10 drops of any essential oil (I used tea tree essential oil) and 1 gallop of white vinegar. Combine the mixture in a spray bottle, use a soft cotton cloth and scrub inside of your fridge
