Electric chimneys have replaced the old-fashioned chimneys at our home. It has bestowed a new look and feel to our kitchen interiors. When compared to exhaust fans, electric chimneys can effectively remove the smoke and odor from our cooking. Instead you have to replace it every three to six months. The crumbs in the charcoal will absorb the oil, grease and odor of the cooking. The capacity of the purification depends on the thickness of these filters.

Duct Tape Chimneys

Due to more suction capacity, these filters are more durable. These types of filters can be cleaned with a soap scrubber, which removes the stains and hard particles stick to it. Duct Tape Chimneys can be cleaned once in a month to maintain the glossy surface.

A DIY is fun to do work but not all the times, and hence technology has elevated its stand a level high and has come up with auto-clean chimneys. All you need to do is pour the detergent solution and leave the water tube in a pail of water. It automatically cleanses the oil, stain and grease out.
