Have you ever tried the natural at-home ways to brighten your teeth and refresh your mouth? Gum related diseases are really the worst partners of our teeth. Once I ended up with toothaches and at the very first stage; I consulted my family doctor (Dinesh, DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry)). Instead of treating me with syringe and tablets, he explained me some effective steps to follow every day. Here are those tips that I would like to share with you guys today!

#Tip 1: To decrease gum swelling, brush twice a day with a soft brush at 45 degree angle

#Tip 2: Buy toothpaste that contains Aloe Vera mixture, which helps to cleanse and mollify gums and teeth. This helps to fight cavity problems

#Tip 3: For natural wash rinse your mouth with green tea. It contains essential herbs which not only makes your mouth fresh but acts as a shield in deterring the entry of germs

#Tip 4: If you get a toothache, instead of using chemical powders take a clove from your kitchen. Place the Q part on the ache area and leave it for 5-10 minutes. You can also mix ginger and cayenne powder and apply the paste.

#Tip 5: Since Calcium is the dominating power for your teeth and gums, try having cheese, yogurt and soya beans for your breakfast or evening snack along with a fruit.

#Tip 6: Avoid smoking as tobacco causes oral cancer and makes your gums weak and prone to bacteria. This will also cause cavities that are incurable and later needs a tooth replacement.

#Tip 7: Pineapple is one effective fruit for your teeth and gums. It contains an enzyme called ‘Bromelain’ that has the power to remove stains stuck to your gums and teeth.

#Tip 8: Instead of using a mouth-wash, you can opt for warm sea salt water along with clove or mint to refresh the teeth and gums. This also eradicated bad odor.

#Tip 9: Use any toothpaste brand but confirm that it doesn’t contain sodium lauryl sulfate and fluoride. As it is highly powerful, this can damage your teeth and gums.

#Tip 10: Last but not the least, go for a dental check up every six months to check whether your gums and teeth are sturdy and healthy.

With these simple tips in my mind, I started the next day as scheduled above. Care for your teeth is also a significant factor as you take care of your skin. These steps will help in maintaining strong teeth without cavities and internal damages.
