Saraswati Music College was established in 1924 at Lahore by its founding Principal, Late Shri Bansilal Kapoor, a disciple of the veteran musician, Late Pandit Maniram ji of Mewati Gharana. The institution moved to Delhi after partition. The institution is one of the oldest and among the most reputed ones in the field. It is run by a registered Society, a non-profit earning body. It has been providing training in Hindustani and Western Music, Indian Dances, Arts and Crafts.It is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and conducts examinations to MA(Music). To add to this, I got an opportunity to enhance my vocals in the best guidance of Ustad Saukat Hussain Khan [Agra Gharana], son of Ustad.Sharafat Hussain Khan at SAPTAK School of Music, Ahmadabad. Further, Gujarati Sugam Sangeet and Hindi/Urdu Ghazals. I have taken training from Shri.Gaurang Vyas, well known music director in Gujarati Film Industry in the workshop called “Nad Brahma”.
