Check for the direction of the house (the direction you face while coming out of the house). While the direction of the main entrance is considered important, it would be good if the house is in the north-east direction. North-west, east, north and west are the other direction faces of a house considered best.

● It’s always better to avoid a house that has south, south-west and south-east entrances.

● Kitchen is the heart and soul of the house and family, so it should be in the right direction to nourish the family. South-east or north-west is the best direction for a kitchen. Look for a house that has a kitchen set up in these directions.

● Gaze through if the master bedroom lies in the south-west direction of a house.

● If the house is structured in the rectangular or square shape without any cut or extension in any direction, then it is in perfect compliance with Vaastu.

● Kitchen, toilets or shoe racks shouldn’t be in the north-east direction of a house and avoid moving into a house that has a balcony in the south-west direction.

● In case it is a duplex house that has a staircase in the north-east direction, then it is better to avoid shifting there.
