Today's world is competitive and both parents have to work to ascertain financial stability, The families are nuclear and the children miss the warmth of loving and caring hands. The digitization while good for the economy has post challenges on the children as they get used to mobile devices and electronic gadgets at an early age .The children get accostomed to watching too much of TV while they should be actually spending the time on quality physical and mental activites. Science has proved that the child's major developments happen during the initial years and the physical and mental activities are essential during this stage. While we parents are aware of these facts we neglect it due to the fast paced life with full of job commitments .Being a mother of 2 kids, I have personally felt the same .In my little endeavour to help the society I have taken over the center head position at Rising Stars Preschool, DayCare and Activity centre. We have a 3500 sqft space with large outdoor play area. The mission of Rising Stars is to open a child's world in new ways everyday, which will equip the child to soar for excellence through creativity. The focus is on holistic development of child through fun filled activities. Our vision is to Embed values of kindness, responsibility, safety, respect, courage,trust and commitment in the children and to align with our rich cultural integrity. In our Preschool, There is only growth, characterised by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical, and social development, which leads to discovery and eventual mastery. At Rising stars,our curriculum aims at the effortless acquisition of knowledge which leads to the unfolding of the innate ability residing in children. Children learn concepts from working with materials, and each other, rather than by direct instruction. Our Curriculum is a balanced mix of kindergarten and Montessori to allow students maximum versatility in their future lives.We cater to a variety of learning needs.We are equipped to teach and develop skills in students by offering experiential learning. Sand play and water play is part of our curriculum. We ensure to develop the whole child both in and beyond the classroom. A wide range of activities and opportunities are available. These include music, all styles of dance, physical activities like zumba, yoga, karate, gymnastics, etc, and linguistic activities like handwriting, phonetics, English and Hindi spoken,reading and written. All types of Art and craft activities available for finer motor development. We at Rising Stars expose the students to Phonics. This helps children to recognize sounds and use it to read at a very early age. We offer activity based daycare where children play and learn doing activities. Safety is of utmost concern and all precautionary measures are taken at the facility .Daycare is available 8 am to 8 pm to enable the working parents to complete their profesional commitments. We assure parents that the kids are in safe hands. We are also concerned about the parents well being. Keeping in mind the physical fitness we offer zumba,yoga,etc for parents along with kids. We strive to have the right talent to take care of the tender and curious kids.
