Sangeetha Packers & Movers Koramangala Bangalore

I want to register a complaint against Sangeetha Packers and Movers about my TV set that I had transported from Bangalore to Gurgaon on 4th of April 2013 through them which was delivered with damages and beyond repair. Also, there was no remote control that was received at the destination. The TV was thoroughly checked by the receiving agent by appropriately running it with live cable connection and was found to be in perfect condition at the time of taking it. Also, on the contrary, the TV set along with Remote was not packed in front of us and upon enquiring, we were told that all due care will be taken while packaging and transporting at there godown. It was also surprising that the package was not carried by themselves as promised and instead handed over to a 3rd party courier (GATI in this case) which is completely denying any fault at their end. If this was the case, we could have also done it at almost one fourth the cost that we have paid to them through the courier service. Please note that the TV set was bound to have damages as upon checking the packaging at the destination, it was found that the TV set was wrapped with just one round of bubble wrap and then one round of brown cover and sealed. The TV screen was protected with one additional sheet of brown cover as well. There was no Thermocol that was used which should have ideally protected the delicate and glass items like TV set against any manhandling. Also, on the cover, there was nothing written prominently that said “Handle with Care – TV inside” or “This way up”. All this clearly goes the show the complete irresponsibility and casual with the way my consignment was handled. Hence, I would now want to claim my insurance against damages (declared value of the Good was Rs.5000/-) and also the complete refund of the delivery charges (Rs.1850/-) for this. Please note that i had requested my consignment to be insured for which they had collected additional Rs.150/- for the same

Through Sangeetha packers I had shifted all my goods from Bangalore to Delhi. The services from them was good and they charged me nominally which is confidential. The workers handled my goods safely and without any damages they delivered it & I am happy with their services.
