Sri Kumble Narasimha Prabhu B.E Mechanical engineering from MIT Manipal took the path of entrepreneurship with focus on renewable energy & energy saving products and established Solar Trade Links in 1983. Keeping in view the of promotion of non-conventional energy & energy savings products, Solar Trade Links introduced garware sun control film for the building windows and car glass windows in 1985 which reduces the sun heat & better efficiency for air conditioning systems. In 1986 Solar Trade Links introduced for first time portable generators of Birla Yamaha to cater to the needs of Domestic & Commercial Establishment as standby power source. from 1986 till now, Solar trade Links have sold & serviced more than 5000 genset in Coastal Karnataka & were recognized by Birla Yamaha Ltd as leading dealer in India. Keeping the tradition of introducing innovative energy savings & renewable energy products, Solar Trade Links Introduced Bajaj Electricals LPG portable gensets in 2012 & so far as sold & serviced more than 150 gensets. In order to promote non conventional energy as well as lend a helping hand in nation building for energy self sufficiency, Solar Trade Links took the challenge of introducing the energy of the future- Solar Roof top power generation systems. This initiative is taken forward by gen next entrepreneur Kumble Vignesh Prabhu Mechanical engineering graduate from Canara Engineering College & CEO of Solar Trade Links. Solar Trade Links has already installed & commissioned 10kw & 12 kW solar roof top plants at Ramanath enterprises karangalpady Mangalore & Ajith enterprises, baikampady industrial estate Mangalore. Solar Trade Links has to its credit the first net metering solar roof top project in South Karnataka i.e. Ramanath enterprises& Ajith enterprises., and now has another four installation of combined capacity of 100kw roof top solar power to be commissioned before September 2015. Solar Trade Links is also distributor for reputed & trusted brand Racold thermo Ltd - Racold Solar Water Heater system of commercial & domestic & industrial use with capacity to 100ltr to 20000ltr system. More than 10,000 ltr system of domestic/ commercial have been installed in and around Mangalore in the last 12 months.
