BU Distance Courses admissions: Application period extended
If you thought you are short of time to file your application for Bangalore University’s distance courses, think again. The university has announced extension of application deadline for its 2012-13 session distance courses.
Some time back, the university invited applications for admission to their UG, PG, PG Diploma and Certificate courses via correspondence and distance education. The university has now extended the last date for submitting distance course applications.
The college announced admissions for their Correspondence / Distance courses in the month of December 2012. The courses announced included B.A, M.A, M.Com, B.Com, BBM, M.Sc in Maths and Diplomas.
The last date for submitting the applications for distance courses has been extended from March 15 to March 20, 2013 without fine. You are also allowed to submit till March 30, 2013, but with a fine of Rs 100/-.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the UG and Diploma, you should hold 10+2 qualification. To do PG and PG Diploma courses, you should have a relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 50% of marks.
Application procedure:
You should remit Rs 350/- as processing fee in any of the centers listed here: http://www.dccbub.in/default.aspx?tabid=1&ctl=lstbank
If you are seeking admission in DCC & DE for II & III Years of Bachelor’s degree and Final Years Master’s Degree courses, you should also submit your applications online after remitting the processing fee in any of the centers. If you are found eligible, you will be informed via email or SMS to present yourself in person along with your original educational certificates.
