The fee for mass communication varies based on various factors such as the course, the college, location, etc. On average, the course fees might be between 30,000INR to 7 lakh in India. For certificate courses, the fee would be around 50,000; for diploma courses, the cost would be about 2 lakh; for undergraduate classes, the price will be approximately 3 lakh; for postgraduate and doctorate courses, it might vary between 2 lakh to 7 lakh. The duration of the certificate course will be six months to 2 years. For diploma courses, it would be around four months to 2 years; for the bachelor’s system, it is three years; for the master’s, it is two years; and for Ph.D., it is three years.
There are specific eligibility criteria that a student should pass to enroll in mass communication. For the UG course, candidates should have a minimum of 50-60% from any recognized board in class 12. Apart from this, some colleges and universities provide students access based on entrance exams such as Jamia Milia Islamia Entrance Exam, XIC OET, IIMC Entrance Exam, FTII JET, JNUEE, and CUET.
