Eligibility
The RBI has stated the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Grade B examination:
Nationality
Those who are Indian citizens or citizens of Nepal or subjects of Bhutan, or people primitively belonging to India can apply for the examination.
Age
- The age of the candidate, falling under General category, must be between 21 and 30 years.
- Maximum age limit for M.Phil and Ph.D qualifications is 32 and 24 years, respectively.
For SC/ ST candidates, there is an upper age relaxation of 5 years. For OBC, it is 3 years. For PwD (General) and PwD (OBC), the relaxation is 10 and 13 years, respectively.
Education Qualifications
The candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks, if belonging to the general category and at least 50%, if belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories. Alternatively, they must have obtained equivalent grade in graduation degree including 10th and 12th class examinations.

The RBI Grade B exam is quite complex. So, one should start preparing for this exam from the month of June or July. This gives them ample time to practice and become thorough with the concepts.
