Eligibility

Nationality
Those who are Indian citizens or citizens of Nepal or subjects of Bhutan, or people primitively belonging to India can apply for the examination.
Age
- The age of the candidate, falling under General category, must be between 21 and 30 years.
- Maximum age limit for M.Phil and Ph.D qualifications is 32 and 24 years, respectively.
For SC/ ST candidates, there is an upper age relaxation of 5 years. For OBC, it is 3 years. For PwD (General) and PwD (OBC), the relaxation is 10 and 13 years, respectively.
Education Qualifications
The candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks, if belonging to the general category and at least 50%, if belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories. Alternatively, they must have obtained equivalent grade in graduation degree including 10th and 12th class examinations.
