Myself Prakash Jain had a medical problem, the treatment of which was compulsory but toxic to kidney. The treatment was started and after that I met DR. Sandip Prabhakar Bhurke, doctor went through the reports and agreed to the compulsory nature of the durgs. Dr. Bhurke strictly monitored me by weekly creatinine, mild fluctuations in the report occurred but finally my creatinine returned to normal. Dr. Bhurke did not lie to me about the kidney toxic nature of the treatment which was compulsory for my medical problem. During the course of treatment I was mentally overwhelmed and visiting a doctor was very stressful, sensing this Dr. Bhurke many a times monitored my treatment through detailed messages for which he did not even charge me anything. Apart from a good doctor he is an excellent person.
I am Satyajeet Mukherjee from Mumbai. I am a BP patient. Since 2016 I had blood reports suggestive of minor rise in blood creatinine. Dr Bhurke told me that there is no active kidney disease. He decided to postpone special needle test of kidney called as kidney biopsy. Since my report of urine protein was negative hence Dr Bhurke allowed intake limited quantity of non vegetarian food. Dr Bhurke gave supportive medicines, powder and advised special vaccination. Slowly my blood report of creatinine reduced to normal level. Currently I am under regular OPD followup under Dr. Bhurke. Finally, being a "bengali" non-vegetarian food is essential part of our diet. Nonetheless, my family in Kolkata is indeed extremely happy!
My brother Mr. Vasant was started an dialysis , when we met Dr. Bhurke in 2016. Vasant had paralysis at the young age of 26 years in 2010. His kidney become weak from that time. Since then we are regularly three per week dialysis . vanth meets Dr. Bhurke in OPD regularly once a month .
My father Mr. Rohidas Shinde is a diabetic since 11 yrs since 2015. My father?s creatinine was remaining 2.00. We met Dr. Bhurke in 2016. Dr. Bhurke informed us that my father had AKI (Acute kidney injury) in CKD (Chronic kidney disease). Dr. Bhurke explained that there were both temporary & permanent effects on kidney. Hence, minor improvement in creatinine was expected. Routine 1st time testing revealed very high Potassium. Dr. Bhurke immediately admitted my father & controlled the Potassium by injection within 2 days. Very high Potassium can cause problems to the heart & hence this was lifesaving. Since 1 year of Dr. Bhurke sir?s treatment, my father?s creatinine has reduced to 1.52. My father is very happy & comes for regular checkup from Panvel to meet Dr. Bhurke every month.
? My Father Mr Navnit M Gandhi age 70 years Bhurke explained and counseled my Fath?er and my Family that he had permanent kidney weakness and would require Dialysis in the near future. It took time for me and my family to accept the truth. Later on after six months my Father?s he?alth deteriorated and massive amounts of fluid acculated in his legs and lungs. My Father was becomi?ng breathless after walking only two ste?ps. Dr Bhurke advised immediate but spec?ial slow Dialysis. After third dialysis my Father was able to walk by himself to the toilet. Over one month total fluid removial and weight loss due to dialysis was approximately twenty kilograms. This was done by dialys?is technician under the instructions of Dr Bhurke. Surprisingly Dr Bhur?ke reduced the diet restrictions. Dr Bhu?rke explained that now dialysis machine is artificial kidney support to the body. Class one good qua?lity protein like pa?neer, mushroom, soya?bean etc helps to re?build the body. Now my Father has st?arted going office on his own by local train. Our Familt fee?ls safe under care and guidance of Dr Bh?urke. MyFather is st?ill on regular dialy?sis. The best part of Dr Bhurke is he is humb?le and easily approa?chable for consultin?g
My father Ram Bachan Tiwari is diabetic patient in 2011 he had severe urine infection with weakness of kidney and creatinine of 2.0. Dr.Bhurke treated my father with normal antibiotic followed by special long term low dose antibiotic called as urinary antisepsis. Slowly my father recovered and creatinine came to normal 0.9. Due to fluctuating sugars, my father still gets occassional urinary infection. Dr. Bhurke treats my father promptly and completely every time.
