The age limit of KAS exam

The minimum age limit for KAS coaching is 21 years. The maximum age limit for applying for the exam varies with different categories. KAS Exam pattern

KAS exam held by the Karnataka Public Service Commission for the Group A and Group B Services in Karnataka is like the pattern of the APPSC or the IAS exam. The exam is conducted in three main stages i.e., Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The Prelims written test is the first Screening Test that consists of two papers that make a total of 200 marks each. The Prelims paper has negative marking. The candidates who clear Prelims paper reach the Main stage of the exam where they have to sit for a written exam, which is also a descriptive type written test with 9 theory papers. The 9 theory papers consist of language papers where Kannada and English are the two main qualifying papers.
