Aarambh has been a wonderful schooling system for my son, who is now 7 years old. We were just joined the school when he was 3. The school has loving teachers and just enough that is needed for the growth of the child. We bring about learnings from school at home too, which has helped our family and our child live more peacefully. I find the teachers to be very warm with children and that's how the children look forward to going to school everyday with lots of enthusiasm. The reason I chose Aarambh was to breakfree from the rote learning system and make my son enjoy the learning process in his schooling years.

My son is in grade 1 now at Aarambh and was in KG for two years. For us my journey at Aarambh has been a learning for myself and my husband. What drew me here was the simplicity, calmness and nurturing spirit of the teachers. Aarambh appealed to many of my own beliefs about raising a child - focus on nutritious food, boundaries with love, less screen time, more outdoor play, focus more on growth as an individual overall than just academics. In three years we have worked hand in hand with teachers to ensure our son has a regular rhythm first and foremost through healthy sleep, reducing screen time to almost zero, healthy eating, simple play, chores at home, setting and maintaining boundaries and enjoying more BEING than doing. Absolutely horrible experience. A bit of a freakish, cult organization in the name of alternate schooling. Completely avoidable unless you are planning to scar your child's early schooling experience. Basic infrastructure is also missing - the guard doubles up as school sweeper and handyman and there is very little shade for the children to play in. Children bake outside for hours:(. Teachers lack empathy and will somehow want to avoid having any face to face conversation. Will mostly try and make the parent feel guilty if a 3 year old cries in the first few days of school. The blog is very misleading - promises a very nurturing place and it is nothing like that. Avoidable unless if you are looking to be a part of a weird cult group.
