VGC has expanded its services to drilling tube-wells, micro-piling, boreholes for earthing and other specified purposes, using hi-speed hydraulic drilling rigs. Later in 1977, Diamond Trading Company (DTC) was formed selling Calama make submersible pumps. DTC was one of the first companies in Bombay to sell, install and service submersible water pumps. DTC currently deals in hydro-pneumatic systems which are considered as the future of residential and commercial water pumping. A few years later Eetachi Electronics Pumps Division (EEPD) was started in the year 1990. EEPD started catering to complex industrial and residential water pumping solutions along with Germany based KSB Pumps. Diamond Enterprises (DE) was also formed in 1992, dealing in all kinds of domestic and mono-block water pumps. DE also undertakes distribution of Crompton & Greaves domestic water pumps.
