After a surgery as a child, I had limited options to regain my fitness. Swimming seemed a promising option and Junior Swimming Academy proved to be a good place to start learning. I've been instructed by both the sisters Miss Charu and Miss Richa and not only did they help me regain my fitness, it also instilled a sense of confidence in me. They are just as amazing as they're courteous and have been tremendously helpful in improving my swimming techniques be it for the sake of sport or a competition. A few of my contemporaries did very well at some of the national events and brought laurels to their respective schools as well as the academy. For all the budding swimmers out there in Delhi, I'd strongly endorse paying a visit to Junior Swimming Academy

My son trained here for a month for stroke correction. He is a level 4 red cross swimmer who had not swum for a year or so and needed polish. The sister, Richa and Charu who run this academy are whimsical like teens, discourteous, dishonest (my son who is not an Indian national and so cannot compete in national competitions here, I was told, "Hum kisi ko batayenge hi nahi." In a one-hour class 6 days a week, my son would get single instruction from the sideline - no encouragement, no motivation, no explanation about the sport. When he once asked why a certain way of arm movement was wrong, he was told, 'coach tum ho ya main?" Needless to say, he did not ask another question. They 'may' be good swimmer, but it takes more than that to be a coach for young children. We were made to buy expensive stuff that was rarely used in addition to exorbitant fee, for which there is no receipt. Sheer waste of money and time for us.
