About IIT JEE
The joint entrance exam is a country level entrance examination conducted by NTA. The exam offers admission for BE/ B.Tech, BArch and BPlan courses at top institutes across the country. IIT-JEE examination pattern
This is basically split into Main and Advanced, with the Main comprising paper I and II, and Advanced also comprises of two papers in offline mode. If you want to pursue a B.E, B.Tech or any other UG program, then you will have to appear for paper I, which will include questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics. The questions will be objective type, with equal weightage given to these three subjects. If you are looking to pursue a B.Arch or B.Planning course, then you will have to take paper II, which includes a mathematics test, an aptitude test and a drawing test. These will also be objective-type questions. The duration of this exam is three hours. The Advanced exam will also have three sections, namely chemistry, physics and mathematics, with the questions being of the objective-type and testing a candidate’s comprehension, reasoning and analytical abilities.
