JEE Overview
The joint Entrance exam, also known as JEE, is an entrance examination held on a national level for individuals to get into engineering colleges. JEE is held in two phases: JEE main and JEE advanced. JEE is considered one of the toughest exams at a global level.
JEE Eligibility
JEE does not have age criteria, and anyone can attend JEE regardless of age. However, an individual should have completed their 12th exam or an equivalent educational degree in a government-recognized institution. However, this age criteria might not be applied to the institutions to which the candidate might apply through the JEE examination.
JEE Application Form
The students who wish to apply for JEE are recommended to visit the official JEE website and register for the examination. Students are supposed to fill in the essential details and upload the necessary documents on the application form available on the website. The application fee must be paid before the student books an exam slot.
JEE Admit Card
A admit card is issued to the students who apply for the JEE exams. The Admit card is available for download on the official JEE or NTA websites. This Admit card is a must and an essential document that needs to be bought by the student to attend the JEE examination on the day of the examination.
JEE Exam Pattern
Usually, the examination pattern is released on the official JEE website. This exam pattern is available for download for students who require it. The exam pattern consists of the total number of questions: the marking scheme, the mode of examination, and much more.
JEE Exam Date
The exam dates on which the JEE examinations will be held are announced on the JEE official website. The exam is commonly conducted in two attempts throughout the year. Each batch of JEE examination is held for 6-7 days.

Category-wise cut-off for JEE-Advanced

JEE Cut off
The JEE cut-off is the minimum required score a student must score to qualify for the JEE advanced examination. The JEE cut-off marks vary each year based on the difficulty of the examination. The NTA declares the JEE cut-off on its official website.
JEE Counselling Process
After the JEE results are declared, the counseling dates are announced. The counseling is usually conducted by two organizations named; JoSAA and CSAB. These organizations help place students in various colleges and consult the scopes of fields with the students.
JEE Participating Colleges
The participating colleges for JEE examination vary each year. However, the major participating institutions consist of 31 national institutes of Technology, 25 Indian Institutes of Information technology, 28 Centrally Funded Technical institutes, and many other private institutes that consider JEE as one of the main entrance methods. The students can access information on which college and course they can apply for through the JEE counseling.
