A horrible experience we had in the Rotary Narayana Eye Hospital, Salt Lake. Heard a lot about Dr Pankaj Rupaliah and had taken an appointment. The entire experience is extremely bad. Starting from the reception people every staff including the so-called good doctor is rude, unprofessional, ill -mannered. No value for patient's money and time. The doctor attitude is as if the patient is a beggar. The OPD reception staff attitude is as if they are sick to see people in distress. We were given appointments at 3pm. We, both patients left the hospital after wasting two hours without seeing the doctor. An irresponsible ill -mannered no-empathy doctor is the Dr Pankaj Rupaliah. A horrible experience indeed.

My mother age 74 having MRN no.3757-86445 eye was operated on 04/12/2017 for cataract as per advice of Dr. Manisha Kharbanda with best available package of Rs.34150/-with them but her vision is unsatisfactory and almost lost her vision. In check up Dr. Pankaj Raupalia told her vision may not improve due to nerve problem. But prior to operation the nerve problem or probable problem of vision was not told. If they have told regarding any doubt of vision I could have consulted with other doctor. So the question crops into my mind that either there is a problem od diagnosis or for commercial purpose they have not disclosed the fact. But it is not fair enough to do business as my mother has almost lost her vision. Moreover there is an option of rebate for senior citizen which they have not disclosed. There is a Counseling room to maintain ISO rules whose spelling is also wrong, and no counseling was done prior or after operation.

Went to this hospital for a normal eye check up. The hospital has all the required facilities and infrastructure to the patients and they were quick in the treatment and the fee was affordable.

My mom had an eye surgery from this hospital. The service provided by them was very good as the hospitality and infrastructure was impressive. They charged RS 28500 for the surgery. The only problem is there is no problem for accommodation. Apart from that i am satisfied with their treatment as my mom feels better.
