ABOUT US- "Chhandaneer" is a musical institution situated in south kolkata, dhakuria, near haltu bazar(Kasba). It was formed in the year 1996 and is affiliated to "Bangya Sangeet Parishad"(Center no. 3801), where one not only can learn musical instruments but we also give our students the opertunity to sit for the theory and practical examinations conducted by 'Bangya Sangeet Parisad",and have their proper certifications. The institute is formed conducted by Mr. Dibyendu Chakraborty(commonly known as raju chakraborty) a well known folk artist(profetional singer) and also a play back singer in award winning movies like 'MONER MANUSH' etc. His musical journey started at the age of 11 and at that age he was also titled as "MASTER RAJU". He is also live member of different renound groups like- KOEL SILPI GOSTI, SUR BAHAR, CALCUTTA YOUTH TROUPE and many more. He is also a 'TRIPLE SANGEET BIBHAKAR' with distinction and also performs in live TV shows casting in different chanels. MUSICAL AND INSTRUMENTAL LESSONS- 1. Bengali folk songs 2. Keyboard or Synthesyser {Note:- Home tutions are also available.} For easy and fast learning of students we have different batches and we are there 7 days a weak. We believe that every person have their own unique talents and every one knows something or the other about music. So keeping that in mind we charge our students a afordable monthly fees. So that everyone's desire of learning music can come true. In this long journey of 33 years our institution (chandaneer) has been able to witness different success stories of our beloved students. And we are proud that dozens of our students are passed out with distinction and are awarded with gold,silver and bronze medels and they are working profetionally in their respective fields.
