The Excel NEET Academy is the new avatar of the Excel Summer Institute, an Institute par excellence of yesteryears, which was offering an intensive personal coaching programme for Tamilnadu professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE). Started in 1985, the Excel Summer Institute grew in leaps and bounds with centres throughout Tamilnadu in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Vellore, Cuddalore, Neyveli, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil. When the Govt of Tamilnadu abolished the TNPCEE system of admission into professional colleges in 2004, the Founder-Directors of the Excel Summer Institute channelized their expertise to other levels of higher education. The Excel NEET Academy is founded and managed by one of the Founder-Directors of the erstwhile Excel Summer Institute. Several subject experts and resource persons of the erstwhile Excel Summer Institute are associated with the newly founded Excel NEET Academy.
