These programmes are offered under nine different departments, which are shown below: Ganga Institute of Technology and Management is a private institute that was established in 2008 in Jhajjar by the Pawan Ganga Educational Society. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Ganga Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is designated as Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs by IIT Delhi under the subsequent directives issued by the MHRD. It also organises a spoken tutorial in collaboration with IIT Bombay. A Local Chapter for NPTEL courses is established with IIT Kanpur. Under this tutorial, the Institute provides audio-visual training to the students for education in distance learning mode. The Institute campus has a library with more than 50,000 books and e-journals with computerised search, issue and returns facilities. It also offers an Inter-Library Loan facility to its students through the Developing Library Network (DELNET).
