Gnana Jyothi trust was founded in the year 2005. The trust works for the betterment of the disabled community. The trust renders academic support services to visually impaired students. The organization provides school and college text books in braille and audio format to the needy students free of cost. Apart from this service the trust runs a free hostel for college going visually impaired girls. It provides free hostel facility for 40 students. in order to promote better employment opportunities to blind persons the trust has set up a free computer training center. The trust carries out all its activities from the funds received as donations from the general public and philanthropists.
