During one of his trips to Singapore, in the year 1994, he visited a leading readymix concrete plant here and had a first hand experience of state of art concrete manufacturing. When he came to understand, that the Splendid growth of Singapore’s infrastructure is attributed to the RMC technology, he realised that he has a critical role to play in this area and determined to start a plant in Chennai and achieved it too. Today RayMix concrete has plants in Poonamallee, Vallam, Padur, Nalloor and Nellai. Mr.R.V.M.A. Rajan is a member of RMC Manufacturers Association, Cement Dealers Association, Indian Concrete Institute and Builders Association of India – Chennai Chapter. He is an active member of a leading mentoring institution called “ ALMA MATER” founded by great thinker T.T.Rangarajan, who remains as a friend, philosopher and guide to many successful Industrialists and businessmen.
