Athistaa Ladies Hostel Kathirkamam Pondicherry

Hi, i stayed in athista for 10 months for my internship in JIPMER, initially to adjust with tamilian food was little tough but later i got adjusted to the taste and food. Hostel is very near to JIPMER and also it is very secure and safe place, mostly gates are locked and it is good. Compared to other 5 to 6 hostel in pondy, athista is good. Owner akka is little strict but also very supportive. Thanks akka and kutty athista.

I am a Pg aspirant. My stay was for 4 months and if the food had been a bit better i would have stayed furthermore. The most stressful thing during my stay here was- the food. It was of low standards. Only 3 to 4 dishes only be good in a week. Rooms were poorly maintained including the toilets. For security deposit the management has their own set of rules unlike other hostels which makes a person to stay compulsorily for 3 months, if not, they would deduce from the deposit amount for no reason. When complaints were made, they wud brush it off with unconvincing replies! One can adjust only so much not everything! They need to make some changes in their way of managing things!! People stay here despite all this things is because of one reason and is this hostel is near DAMS and JIPMER.

After we looked 5 to 6 hostel then we got into athistaa ladies hostel, the overall service and special care by owner akka is good. Hygenic Food and safety is very well taken care. I enjoyed my stay for last 8 months now moving to my native kerala.

I am a PG doctor and staying here for last 6 months, the service and overall maintenance is very good, during this covid-19, there safety measures are cool.
