The aim and objective of the institute are thus to meet the challenges of these issues. The Aura Institute of Animation and VFX was established in 2011. The first centre of the institute was established in Thane. During the year 2016, plans are in a fast swing to develop centres elsewhere in major cities across India. The Institute was established with the primary objective of development of the educational and intellectual level of boys and girls. The Institution also aims to introduce the Degree in Animation and Multimedia for higher education.
