Crimson Chakra Restaurant Adyar Chennai

Good place for have a nice dinner. The quantity is large compared to a lot of restaurants today. I would recommend this place.

I went to Crimson Chakra in Jan'12 for my treat and of course as they say "food with a difference", they provide food with difference. If you really want to try something different in Chennai then you must visit Crimson Chakra. I tried Crab Vadai, Curry leaf Prawn and it was awesome.. They offer Ala carte and Combo menu. I would suggest to go for A-la Carte menu, because you can have a go at some different starters. I feel its little bit overpriced and they also offer a 10% discount if you carry a voucher they offer in their website.

The food is good, served hot, the waiters are knowledgeable and are able to suggest good selections. They have a mouth water selection of desserts. The Tarte Tatin is specially delectable. There is quiet a crowd on the weekend evenings, so it is a good idea to book ahead

The anmbience of this place is simply amazing,however must say that quaklity of food is not all that great. Felt extremely heavy just after having the starters, (which generally doesnt happen considering the foodie that i am). Its a place that you can go to only for ambience, but if you want to have good quality food,this is not the place for you.

Cucumber salad is the one you should taste here, its really superb, they add spices on it and preferable after having a meal to refresh

I must to say the ambiance was fabbbbbb. i like the furniture they are using its so comfortable. The food was little bit costly even though its was good experience
