BE AWARE ! BEWARE! Be aware of Mr. Sant Sharma, proprietor of Dayal Construction Works on Sharma Construction Works. He is a cheat and fraud. We employed him for renovation work in our house. He took lot of advance nearly and ran away, leaving the work incomplete. His modus operandi is: (1) He takes lot of advance, almost every 2nd day. (2) Now he gives a cheque for some amount as security and asks you to give more money to him as his Uncle is admitted in hospital. (3) If you don't fall in his trap, he says that he has no money to buy more material. when you go with him to buy the material, he orders excess material. The shopkeeper is in league with him and quotes very high price. One ends up paying huge amount. The excess money is taken by him. Even the G.S.T. is not fully paid. (4) Now he requests you for paying the rest of the money as he has to pay the labour. If you say that the money shall be paid after completion of the work he stops the work midway. (5) substandard work too
