He completed his pediatric training in Madras Medical college and pursued further training in the United Kingdom. He completed pediatric training in various London Hospitals and underwent pediatric hematology oncology training in world renowned institutions such as Royal London hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He worked as consultant pediatrician with interest in Pediatric Haematology and Oncology for 5 years before returning back to India.
