HDFC Bank Maniktala Kolkata

I have been interested in a car costing less then 4 lakhs and by the by it was discussed at the branch when I had been there to deposit a cheque. I did not need any loan but on the request of Me Soumen Paul I agreed as he informed that I have a pre sanction loan amount of Rs. 20 lakhs. I was planning to make a cheque purchase of the car but on the insistance of Mr Paul I agreed to the loan of about Three lakhs as I was exchanging my five year old car. That was when my trouble began. I had to follow up on every step and one Mr Asish from loan department visited me and collected all document and confirmed that he would send me a mail on the progress. That the end..... more then a week is over and I am yet to get any clarification apart from verbal assurance which is totally false. B M Kar
