JK Men Hostel Nungambakkam Chennai

Oh god..its the worst place I have ever stayed. I stayed just for 1.5 months. They charged 7500 rent for 2 sharing. A small room with 2 beds. No separate cupboard will be given for keeping our stuff safe. But there are cctv cameras, but unsure if it is recording and useful in case of a robbery. They charged Rs 1000 as caution deposit and they snatched it when I left in the name of current charge. It was a non ac room and happened in February 2019. Till January the current charge was around 280-300 and suddenly to grab my caution deposit they told it is 1200 for February. I asked the warden to explain to me how it can be 1200, with just one tube light and fan in the room. I have an iron box. I calculated and it requires me to run the iron box for 6 hours daily to have that fat bill for February. My past room mate who left when I joined Rs 3000 caution deposit in terms of some petty excuse. So don't ever stay in this hostel. They opened it just to loot people.

they cheated me,they didn't not refund my advance 3000 even i submitted vacating notice.they are fraud,dont join this hostel,food is poor,for proof see in google photo chat conversation about advance 3000....

The worst PG I've seen in Chennai.Not worth for the money, with that food I got health issues very small rooms with huge crowd no proper cleaning rooms and bathrooms if you pay for food you have to eat out side half of the days I recommend to don't join in that PG..

I referred this hostel for my friend when she searched for a room. The response was good and the room was neat. She paying reasonable cost. She feel comfortable and secured.

Searching for the secured and reliable hostel in Chennai and approached this hostel. I visited and accompanied a room in this hostel for Rs.5600. They are providing very tasty food and also laundry available. Folks in this hostel are friendly in nature and very adaptable, looking descent. I feel cool to stay in this hostel.
