WELCOME TO - OKINAWA SHORIN RYU KARATE DO KOBUDO INDIA OSRKKI, is a affiliated member of Shorin Ryu Karate Do International (SRKDI), Under the guidance of Grand Master Hanshi Takeshi Tamaki, 9th Dan - Technical Director (SRKDI) and Sensei Jerry Figgiani, 8th Dan - President, (SRKDI), Sensei Sunil G , 3rd Dan Karate, 1st Dan Kobudo & Sensei Shashi Kumar, 3rd Dan Karate, 1st Dan Kobudo are the Chief Instructors & Members of SHORIN RYU KARATE DO INTERNATIONAL (SRKDI) representing India Dojos. OSRKKI is a traditional school teaching traditional Okinawa Shorin Ryu Style Karate. Our focus is on the success of each of our students, ranging from preschoolers to adults. Each of our classes are uniquely designed based on the needs and abilities of each student, ensuring their success through exercise, self-discipline, mutual respect and positive reinforcement. Our passion lies in watching our students become lifelong martial arts participants and reaching his or her highest potential. Each student will progress through the various belt ranks to reach the ultimate Karate goal – the Black Belt. OSRKKI encourages our students advancements through goal setting, leadership development, character development and healthy competition. Each instructor strongly believes in creating “champions in life” along with champions in Karate, so our lessons are easily applied outside of classes. We have found that Our Programs not only encourage a healthy lifestyle and fitness goals, but Karate also builds self-confidence, motivation and focus within each of our students. Families involved with our programs know that it takes dedication and hard work to achieve a “Black Belt in Life.” We instill the philosophy that Karate can be practiced for exercise and self-defense, but also assists those that may be experiencing bullying, attention disorders, fatigue syndromes or low self-esteem by teaching them how to handle each situation in a non-violent, concentrated manner.
