Patients come from families – they are daughters, sons, spouses, brothers and sisters. When a loved one is suffering, every family member is affected. NNF – Ashram is a place where incredible healing happens with the flow of the natural energy as well as the warm care of our staff. We work hard every day to foster a caring, family atmosphere so our place feels “like home“. NNF has a method to track your loved one’s progress and use a holistic approach reducing the medication to minimum. NNF have sections for poultry (including geese and a turkey) number of dogs, and birds. The fruit trees, Banana trees, the flowers, the rose garden, and the planted cactus from Arizona add a happy feeling. NNF help identify interest, career planning and help with job placement after being discharged because this will continue building self-esteem and independence. Together we help patients and their families discover, grow spiritually in a path of getting well and prosperous.   Nav Nirman (New Beginning) Nav Nirman Foundation was started in New York in 1991 by our Founder Dr. Walter Picardo with the support of his wife Rosermary Picardo. In 1995 our Founders decided to move to India and continue to help and serve persons suffering from Alcoholism, Drug addiction and Mental health problems. Over the years our Founders have helped thousands of people recover from their addiction, who are now leading a successful life. Over the golden work of Navnirman Foundation we have received various citations and awards from the Goverment of India, senators, and even a citation from Former President of United States, Bill Clinton. In the Year 2014, Our Founder Dr. Walter Picardo passed away which was a great loss to our family as well as the foudation. Our Founders may not be present with us today, but their wisdom, teachings, insight and legacy would always remain with us forever. We at Nav Nirman Foundation believe that Addicts deserve a second chance at life and we strive to provide the best treatment with our intesive counselling programs to free them from the shakles of addiction and instigate a desire to improve their physical and mental health. We assist our patients to upgrade to a new transformed life with work therapy, skill training, counseling sessions and inspire them to live a spiritual, healthy and successful life. Our Rehabiliation Center is placed in the lap of nature with an area of 2.5 acres covered with trees and plantations, where we grow 100% organic fruits and vegetables for our patients daily consumption.
