NIIT is a renowned IT training centre located in Bangalore, India. NIIT Indiranagar has been headed by professionals with strong values with the vision of imparting computer education and preparing the pupil to the best level of industry requirement. We started our operations from the year 2000. We have been recognised as one of the Model Centers and won about 21 Awards for Quality Education Delivery and Process Excellence. We have been adjudged to be the only “Model Center” in Karnataka in the year 2006. We have a formidable team of high-calibre software professionals and trainers from varied technical and functional backgrounds. We are well equipped to train our students to boost their productivity. We have alumni strength of over 7000 software professionals employed in major IT companies. On attaining the status of a significant IT education centre in the metro city, we realised that the knowledge of computers was restricted only to the major cities and a wide gap in the IT field existed between the urban and rural population. With an aim to bridge this gap, we took up the task of computer education in the rural schools of Karnataka as a part of rural IT education project “Mahithi Sindhu” under the aegis of Government of Karnataka. Since then we have trained over 40000 rural school children and 500 school teachers in computers. Methodology:We follow Instructor-led training along with cloud Campus at NIIT Indiranagar which is an effective means of delivering information, as it allows for real-time feedback, questions and answers, manipulation and changeable delivery to suit the needs of learners in a real-time and a learning environment. Cloud Campus:At NIIT Indiranagar, students not only learn through ILT but they also learn by interacting not just with faculty at our centre, but also with experts across India. Practice their concepts in the machine room supported by our faculty. Revise lectures and catch up on missed classes with Lesson on Demand and brush up on the practical application of concepts, sitting at home. If students prefer studying with friends, use our group based online learning modules and solve assignments with their batch mates. Students will be a part of a system that's indeed built around you. They are a part of the Cloud Campus where studying is nothing like studying. Cloud Classrooms:Cloud Classrooms enable the student to learn by interacting not just with faculty at our centre, but also with experts from across India. Live, interactive classrooms are powered by Synchronous Learning Technology, a real-time communication tool that facilitates live interaction between faculty and students. Cloud Courseware:Cloud Courseware is an intelligent digital device enabled courseware to help students learn on the go. It gives them access to their personal IPR protected content, secured to their netbook, laptop or tablet. It allows them to make highlights, create annotations, take notes and share them with their faculty and classmates. Its dynamic nature enables NIIT to send them plug-ins to include new content or reading material needs. Anywhere Lab:Anywhere Lab allows the students to practice the application of concepts they have learnt in class, no matter where they are. The hint system lets them seek help while solving problems. In addition to this, they can also chat with experts to explore answers to their queries. To complete the learning process, the students will get tested on the concepts learnt at home during their Machine Room sessions at the NIIT Centre. Online Assessment:At the NIIT Cloud Campus, the student can continuously improve their performance with online practice tests.
